A group of 100 students from Middlesex University Dubai visited Baku through the professional organization of Flame Tours & DMC, experiencing an inspiring blend of culture, history, and team engagement.
The program began with a comprehensive Baku city tour, where students explored the dynamic contrast between the city’s modern skyline and its rich historical heritage.
The group then traveled to Gobustan National Park, discovering ancient rock carvings dating back thousands of years, as well as the region’s unique mud volcano landscapes. This visit offered both educational value and a deeper appreciation of Azerbaijan’s archaeological significance.
Next, participants explored the historic Ateshgah Fire Temple, learning about the country’s ancient fire-worship traditions and Zoroastrian heritage. The experience continued at Yanar Dag, where the naturally burning hillside created a powerful and memorable impression.
One of the most engaging highlights of the trip was the City Quest challenge organized in Icherisheher (Old City). Through interactive team-based tasks across the historic streets, students strengthened collaboration skills while discovering Baku’s cultural landmarks in a dynamic and entertaining format.
This visit was more than just a tour — it was a well-curated cultural exchange and team-building experience. Organized seamlessly by Flame Tours & DMC, the program successfully showcased both the historical depth and modern energy of Baku, leaving the group with lasting memories and meaningful experiences.
